Dr. Jumoke Oduwole is Nigeria’s Honourable Minister of Industry, Trade & Investment, appointed in late 2024. A legal and policy expert with a strong track record in economic reform, she previously served as Special Adviser to the President on the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) and on Ease of Doing Business, leading more than 200 business reforms.

Under her leadership, the Ministry is being repositioned as a dynamic engine for industrialization, export growth, investment promotion, and creating sustainable jobs. Dr. Oduwole holds degrees in Law (LL.B), an LL.M, and a Doctorate in International Trade & Development from Stanford. She also has strong experience in reform-minded governance, regional trade negotiation, and public sector transformation.

As a speaker at the WIEG Investment Summit, she will discuss how Nigeria is building a competitive, inclusive, and resilient industrial-trade ecosystem to attract global investment and accelerate structural transformation.
