Dr. Eke Uka is a distinguished development economist with over three decades of experience spanning macroeconomic policy, development finance, public sector reform, and international development practice.

He holds a Ph.D. in Development Economics from the University of Bombay and brings a rare blend of academic rigor, banking expertise, and hands-on policy implementation.

Dr. Uka has held senior roles with USAID/Nigeria as a Macro-Economist and served as Head of Strategic Planning at the Bank of Industry, where he led institutional strategy, project monitoring and evaluation, sectoral analysis, and engagement with multilateral partners.

He is currently the Managing Consultant at Ladama Consulting Limited, advising governments, DFIs, and private sector institutions on economic strategy, fiscal reform, development planning, and investment readiness.

A seasoned negotiator and program designer, Dr. Uka has worked extensively with bilateral and multilateral agencies, supported national policy formulation, and delivered high-impact B2B and B2G frameworks across key sectors, including agriculture, infrastructure, and finance.

He is a Life Member of the Nigerian Economic Society and an internationally respected voice in development planning and economic transformation.
