Farida Yahya
Farida Yahya is a seasoned social entrepreneur and visionary leader with over 15 years of experience across media, community development, and social impact sectors. She currently serves as Country Director and Chief of Party for the West Africa Division of the American Institute for International Policy Makers and Public Administrators (AIIPMPA), where she leads regional strategy, operations, and partnerships to expand sustainable development initiatives.
She is the Founder and CEO of The Brief Academy, empowering female founders from underserved communities with affordable digital learning and mentorship—impacting over 3,500 women and 1,000 startups. A 2021 Mandela Washington Fellow and two-time TEDx speaker, Farida has received multiple national recognitions for leadership and humanitarian impact.
She also serves as Deputy National President of AWEP Nigeria, supporting 1,760 women entrepreneurs across 36 states to scale into global markets. Farida is a Stanford Online One League Fellow focused on Entrepreneurship and Product Innovation.
