Ms. Aisha Rimi is the Executive Secretary / Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), appointed in October 2023. She brings over 30 years of knowledge in commercial law, project finance, regulatory compliance, and cross-border investments. Before assuming the helm of NIPC, she co-founded Africa Law Practice (ALP), advising on foreign direct investment, joint ventures, and regulatory frameworks.

As leader of Nigeria’s investment promotion agency, she is driving higher levels of investment-by-supporting policy incentives, institutional capacity, and investor facilitation. Under her leadership, NIPC has intensified engagements across states, prioritized investor aftercare, and aligned with national economic diversification goals.

At the WIEG Investment Summit, Ms. Rimi will speak to Nigeria’s evolving investment architecture, sectoral opportunities, and mechanisms for bridging government–private sector partnerships.
